Kellen's 1st Presents of the Season

Santa came a little early to Arkansas so we wanted to share with you his experience.
Ok, Ok, I know I am REALLY late, but haven't been on here in forever. Spending too much time on Facebook. Sorry to disappoint everyone on the video cut short. But, if you must insist, the big box had......... are you ready........ a basketball hoop in it!! Come on guys, exciting stuff, right!! Yeah, I know, not really that exciting, and Kellen really didn't care that he got it because he had all of his new trucks. Someday he will like basketball according to Casey. FYI, sorry for looking so scary that morning, I was visited by the sick fairy and and my voice sounded really sexy. Kind of embarrassed actually..... oh well, it was all about Kellen anyways!!! He had a wonderful Christmas and need to post new pictures of our Holidays in Kentucky!!

Tis the season...

Remember that little guy!! He just turned one, oh my! I was looking through old pictures and came across these, boy has he changed. We haven't gone to see Santa yet, but I am really not sure how he is going to react. Last year, he cried. The year before that, I think he cried. And his first Christmas, he was great! So, we will see how it goes. We have been busy getting ready for Christmas and planning our trip back to Northern Kentucky. I started Christmas shopping months ago, but there are always the last minute things to get in order. We had a little dusting of snow a few days ago, but that was about it. The sun came out and all was gone. We might be seeing a white Christmas in Cincinnati, but not in Arkansas! (Em, I might be the worse blogger in history. It's been forever and I don't work!) Love and miss everyone!

Happy Halloween!

This was a fantastic Halloween! Kellen was really into it and was such a great sport in his Turtle Costume, he called it Tony the Turtle! (One day when we were hiking in the park, we found a really old turtle and named it Tony, how original!) Anyways, he was so darn cute and even went up to the houses all by himself, he's such a big boy. He held his pumpkin with all of the candy in it and even when it got really heavy. We had a great time and loved watching Kellen say, trick or treat.... Then, towards the end of the night, he just walked up to the door and held out his pumpkin. How can you turn down a 2 yr. old turtle!! We love you Kellen, and thanks for hanging in there until the end!!
And thank you to the O'Connell's for having such a huge neighborhood with lots of candy! Abby and Zach were Cowgirl and Cowboy, loved it!!

Jamie and Laura Get Married!

What an amazing wedding! It was so beautiful and Jamie and Laura looked amazing. We had a wonderful time and it was so awesome to spend time with everyone. It was so good to see Em, Jeremy, and Hudson, the cutest thing ever!! He is such a combo of his mommy and daddy and those blue eyes melt you. Kate and Shannon were the flower girls and were a hit at the ceremony, they are adorable! Jamie and Laura were so happy and seeing the smile on James face when he walked up the beach was priceless. They are perfect for each other and we wish them the best. I loved every minute of it and it was good to be with family. Miss everyone already!!

Pumpkin Patch

We were able to go to a farm with pumpkins still on the vines, first time for me! It was a ton of fun and went with our new BFF's,theO'Connells. After getting scratched from the vines, a lovely picnic, a bumpy hayride, raspberry stains that don't come off for days, and about 20 picked out pumpkins later, it was well worth it!! (Love the pics, the farmer stand was hilarious!)

Summers are long in Arkansas!

We had a great summer in Arkansas with lots of new experiences, which happens quite often here! We were able to visit a few wild animal rescue facilities, a drive-through zoo (that's right!), a monster truck show (as you have seen on video), birthday parties, and anything that came our way that involved fun! Kellen, I dedicate this to you because this summer was so special to us and I've enjoyed every second with you. You are growing up too fast and figuring out what life is like as an almost 3 year old. You are happy, confident, outgoing, smart, and very loving... and extremely sure of yourself (its your way or the highway!). Mommy is trying to take it all in, its easy to still think of you as my little pumpkin who always loved to snuggle up on my chest and let me look at you for hours!! You are not afraid of anything or what this world offers you. We love you and are so proud of everything you do. Everyone is telling us how much you look like Daddy, which is fine by me!! You are a handsome little guy and are always flirting with the girls. We love you and you will always be our little pumpkin, xoxoxo Mommy and Daddy
